2026 MENTORSHIP APPLICATION NOW OPEN!

As a new year begins, my mentorship with Monika Deviat Photography is ending. It was an amazing year of learning, new connections, and adventure. My co-mentee Alisa Peckham and I adventured into the backcountry of Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park in a helicopter, with another trip planned this March. The hours spent conversing online with Monika created new friendships that will continue long after our mentorship ends this month.

It was a busy year for me. Participating in several gallery shows, the very first Mindful-Lens Photography Retreat, speaking to the Turner Valley Camera Club, and participating in the Banff Mountain Film Festival Photo Rodeo.

This free one-year virtual mentorship is open to nature photographers anywhere. If we are close enough to each other to make it work to get together physically, that’s a bonus! Topics discussed may include photography techniques, editing, artistic expression, portfolio review, image critique or other topics of your choice.
